Shipping Policy

Shipping & Returns Shipping & Returns

Our shipping rates are the lowest when it comes to shipping perishable foods. If you're not in a hurry, select GROUND shipping and reap the benefits of low shipping cost. All GROUND orders ship on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and arrive on Friday or Saturday of the same week. However, all GROUND orders, whether you ordered dry goods or perishable foods, will be delivered within 9 to 12 business days or less (weekends not included).  If you need quicker delivery, please select NEXT DAY or 2DAY shipping.  Read below for more details on GROUND shipping under PERISHABLE FOODS.

“DEEP FREEZE PACKAGING”

We do ship FRESH FOODS (perishables) via Ground. We use plenty of dry ice and a reusable, custom branded insulated cooler, a packaging combination that will insure your products arrive frozen and in excellent condition whether you choose Ground or Overnight delivery.

WellnessGrocer offers Ground, 2-3 Day and Overnight delivery from LA to the lower 48 continental United States.  For delivery to Hawaii and Alaska, you must select NEXT DAY  as your shipping method when checking out.   A $12.50 surcharge for shipments to Hawaii and Alaska will be added to your total purchase. For international shipping, refer below for detailed ordering procedures.  For Saturday delivery, you must select NEXT Day as your shipping method. A $12.50 fee will be charged as well (please indicate if you need a SATURDAY delivery in our COMMENT text box in the BILL TO section).

SHIPPING RATES
Our shipping rates are determined by the total weight of your order and the postal zip code to where your order is being shipped.  Unlike most companies who base their shipping charges on total dollar value, we use current UPS and FEDEX shipping tables. There are no hidden shipping costs.  In the event no one is home to receive your order, we strongly recommend you send your package to a business address to insure delivery.  Sending your package to a commercial address will also guarantee a speedy arrival.

If you have questions regarding our shipping methods or policy, please email us at support@wellnessgrocer.com.  We’ll get back to you within 24 hours.  For all EXPRESS orders received by 12 pm (CST), your order will ship the the same day whether it's NEXT DAY or 2DAY air (should we have all items in stock).

PERISHABLE FOODS
When ordering fresh foods, your total perishable order must be a minimum of 5 pounds (any combination of fresh foods).  We use plenty of dry ice and a reusable, custom branded insulated cooler - a packaging combination that will insure your products arrive frozen and in excellent condition whether you choose Ground or Overnight as your shipping method.

If you are selecting Ground delivery to ship your perishable foods, your package will be delivered in 9 to 12 business days or less from the day we receive your order.  If you need your package delivered for a specific date, please advise with a date in the "Comment" box when checking out.  You'll see the "Comment" box right after you complete your "Bill To" information.

We encourage perishable orders to be delivered to a business or commercial address.  WellnessGrocer is not responsible or liable for deliveries where the customer is not available to receive the order.  All perishable food orders are final.  If our Overnight courier fails to deliver your package on time (and your perishables are spoiled), you will receive a refund for your order and shipping charges incurred.  There are no product or money back guarantees on GROUND shipments.  Please note that we do not ship perishable foods over the weekend, whether you select GROUND or EXPRESS shipping.

EMAIL NOTIFICATION
After you shop and checkout, you will receive an email notification stating that your order is in process.  We will then proceed to pick and pack your order for shipment.  If all items are in stock and are ready for shipment, your credit card will be processed.  Once the order has been shipped, you will be notified via email with a tracking number from UPS or FEDEX. 

TRACKING YOUR ORDER
Depending on your delivery address, with UPS Ground Service your order may be delivered in 2 to 5 business days. For your convenience, to track your order go to UPS or FEDEX.  Simply fill out the tracking field with your tracking number and receive real time information on when you can expect delivery.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
At this time, our shopping cart does not accept international orders. To place an overseas order, please email us at support@wellnessgrocer.com  including the item number(s) and the respective quantities for each item. Be sure to include a "Ship To" so we can respond with a shipping rate. That's the first step. Further instructions are provided when you agree to purchase the order.

BACK-ORDERS
If an item is out of stock, we will contact you via email asking if you would like to back-order that item, or if you would like us to forward your order immediately.  Back-ordered items generally arrive in our warehouse within 2  to 5 days.   If you choose to back-order, we will proceed with shipping your original order and will bill your credit card for those items being shipped.   After we receive new stock, we will then ship your back-order and will bill your credit card accordingly, along with new shipping charges.
